| Description / विवरण | This bell bearing two lines of inscription is one of the most important objects of archaeological hoard discovered at Kahilipara Odal bakra or Narakasur hill village,Guwahati. It records that Sri Kumara who belonging to the king of Devas and Asuras was given this bell for the use of the worship of the deities. The scripts are similar to those of the eastern verity of kutila type of Brahmi of the Hayungthul copper plate inscription of Harjjaravarman 9th cent A.D. |
