| Description / विवरण | This wooden plaque shows Indra riding over an elephant. Here Indra is shown like a royal figure wearing monglai tupi and the garments. He is holding with his right hand the bajra. In front of him a smaller human figure is seen with an elephant good over on the head of the elephant which is in walking posture. The small human with elephant is represent the mahut. There is a hoka like object in front of the mahut and with left hand the mahut is holding some object which is not clear to us. The scene is inside the frame cut out from the same piece of wooden plank. Above the plaque there are three ardha-chaitya line like deign are curved for beautification of the sculpture. All the sides there some doted design. |
