| Description / विवरण | Garuda, the vehicle of lord Visnu. Here, Garuda is depicted in the usual style i.e., kneeling with anjalihasta mudra out of reverence to his lord. The figure of which is, however, is not depicted along with him. This mythical figure is always depicted in hybrid form. Here also depicted the same style. However, the wings are not seen. The piece of wooden sculpture must have been painted, for, the trace of yellow color can be noticed on the eyes. The right ear of the figure is broken. |
