Description / विवरण
Description / विवरण	Ganesa seated in ardha paryankasana with the right leg lifted up with the foot resting on the pitha, while the left is bent inwards and the sole open to the right. The head gear is composed of a kirita makuta i.e. a long conical cap with a head band on the fore head. The ears are broad and look fan like. The trunk is long and turned towards right and touches the modaka sweet meat . He is represented with two hands the right holding some indeterminate object, while in the left is the sweetmeat modaka . It is devoid of any ornaments excepting for a naga udarabandha. yagnopavita is absent. Other ornaments include armlets. The face is oval in shape and rough in appearance. Seems to belong to the Chalukya period.
