| Description / विवरण | The present image of Lakshmi-Narayana is in alingana posture. The sculpture of four armed Vishnu holds the padma with upper right hand and the shankha with his lower left hand. He embraces Lakshmi with upper left hand. The figure of Vishnu is well ornamented by kirita-mukuta, kundala, hara, graiveyaka, keyura, valaya, nupura and the vaijayantimala. On the chest of Vishnu shrivatsa symbol is also visible.The prabhavali is also well decorated. Lakshmi is depicted in alingana-mudra and her left hand is in vitarka mudra She is also adequetly ornamented wearing bangles in her hand. Her sari has circular floral and diamond shaped motifs with a thick border and has pada valaya. Vishnu is accompanied by an attendant in anjalihasta-mudra. |
