| Description / विवरण | |
| Description / विवरण | The image of Gajasura-samhara Shiva is depicted with four hands in the act of killing the demon. He has six hands holding the trisula with two of his hands pierced in the stomach of the demon while the skin of Gajasura is shown raised up by him with two hands forming an arch. Remaining two of his right hands are broken but a bowl and the damaru are held in two of his left hands. In the action, Shiva has placed firmly his one leg on the ground and the other leg is shown on the shoulder of the demon. The ornaments of Shiva are as usual like kundala, necklace, kativastra etc. The flexion of the body and the arch of the skin give a particular dynamism and pilaster beauty to the image. |
