| Description / विवरण | The first Jain Tirthankara Rishabhanatha is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha. His body appear to be motionless.His head is missing.The right hand is place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap.Left hand and fore arms are broken.Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has an inscription of two lines, it mention the name of donor as Shah Shelad and his wife Polha. His Lanchhan emblem is absent on the Pitha.Sculpture is identified as Jain Tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
