| Description / विवरण | The 8th Jain Tirthankara Chandraprabha is seen standing in Kayotsarga mudra on a Pitha. His body is erect and appears to be motionless with half closed eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression. His curly hair has an Usnisa over his head. Above his head chhatra is shown.Behind the head halo is shown.Gandharva figure are depicted on top corner on either side of the deity.The figure of a standing camardhari is depicted on either side near his legs. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has an inscription of five lines dated to samvat 1684-1624 AD on the Pitha, it mentions the name of donor.His Lanchhan emblem half moon is sculpture at pitha. |
