| Description / विवरण | The 23rd Jain Tirthankara Parshvanatha is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha.He has seven serpent hood over his head.His body appears to be motionless with half closed eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression.The right hand place is over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap.His curly hair has an usnisa over his head.Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has two lines of inscription dated to 1818-1875 AD on the Pitha, it mentions the name of donor as Keerat and his wife and small son Ramprasad. His Lanchhan emblem snake is sculpture at the pitha. |
