| Description / विवरण | This is a hand cannon cast in iron known as shaturnal . The barrels this gun is faceted and is octagonal in section. The cylinder of the gun appears almost parallel but it slightly tappers from towards muzzle with flaring out mouth. A set of astragals near mouth separates muzzle from chase and another set separates chase from breech. There are four inscriptions on the cannon, first on muzzle portion, second was near the trunnion, third and forth are on breech portion. The cascable is fixed to wooden butt with iron nails. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. |
