| Description / विवरण | The four armed Ganesha is seated in sukhasana on a simple pedastal.Due to weathering action details are not discernible.However faint remains indicate he is holding goad in the upper right hand and broken tusk in the lower hand.He carries noose in the left upper left hand whereas lower hand holds bowl with modaka on which rests left turned trunk. Two tiered crown adorns the head and the small ears are noteworthy.He is bejewelled with vakshahara,keyura and a serpent is tied around the pot belly as udarabandha. Upavita suspends from the left shoulder.His vehical mouse is shown in relief on the pedastal.On stylistic grounds image may be ascribed to vijayanagara period. |
