| Description / विवरण | The image of Caubisi represent the 24 Jain Tirthankara.The Main deity 23rd Tirthankara Parshvanatha is seen seated on a pitha.His lanchhan emblem snake is sculpture at the pitha.He has a seven serpent hood over his head.Other 23 Tirthankara is seen in surround, all the jina are shown seated and standing posture.The image has an inscription but due to badly worn out,it is not satisfactorily read out at present.On iconographic grounds and inscription script it can be ascribed of 19th century AD. |
