| Description / विवरण | This inscribed cannon was found in the river Berengpani near Sadiya by some Khamti people while they were catching fish in the river. The then political officer of Sadia donated the cannon to Kamrupa Anusandhan samitti and subsequently it reached the Assam State Museum. The inscription on it declares that king Gadadhara acquired this weapon at Guwahati by defeating the Javanas Moghal in the saka year 1606. |
