| Description / विवरण | This is barrel of a gun having a portion of teak wood stock measuring 1.14 m in length is tied to it with two iron bands which is fastened with flat iron nails by twisting the ends. The rusted Barrel measures 1.73 cm.in length and has a thick and round breech end. A moulded band at the muzzle end and the flaring mouth measures 10cm in circumference. A single line urdu inscription of 18th Century A.D. Character is inscribed on the barrel mentioning the name of Mir Nizam Ali Khan who ruled the state of Hyderabad between 1762-1803 A.D.The surface of the barrel exhibits a thin layer of encrustration. |
