| Description / विवरण | In this sculpture, a four armed Ganesha standing on a simple pedastal is shown.Due to weathering action details are not discernible.However faint remains indicate probably he is holding goad in the upper right hand and the broken tusk in the lower left hand. He carries noose in the left upper hand whereas lower hand holds bowl with modaka on which rests left turned trunk. He wears a two tiered crown and the ears are smaller in size.A deep flake scar on pot belly is noteworthy. On stylistic grounds image may be ascribed to vijayanagara period. |
