| Description / विवरण | In this sculpture, a four armed Ganesha seated in sukhasana on a simple pedastal is shown.Due to weathering action details are not discernible.However faint remains indicate probably he is holding goad in the upper right hand and the fore arm of lower hand is missing.He carries noose in the left upper hand whereas lower hand holds bowl with modaka on which rests left turned trunk.Part of his head,right and left leg are damaged. Nupura on the left leg is the only ornament, worn by him is visible. On stylistic grounds image may be ascribed to vijayanagara period. |
