| Description / विवरण | The Jain Tirthankara is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha. His body appear to be motionless with half close eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression. The right hand is place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap. His curly hair has a Usnisa over his head. A standing and seated jina figure are depicted on either side of deity. Above his head Chatra is shown. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest. The image pedestal has no inscription, but on iconographic ground it can be ascribed to 18th century AD. His Lanchhan emblem is absent on the Pitha. Sculpture is identified as Jain Tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
