| Description / विवरण | The 8th Jain Tirthankara Chandraprabha is seated in padmasana mudra on a pitha.His body appears to be motionless with half closed eyes which show a beautiful meditative expresion.The right hand is placed over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap.His curly hair has an usnisa over his head. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has an inscription but due to badly worn out,it is not satisfactorily read out at present.On iconographic grounds and inscription script it can be ascribed of 15th century AD.His lanchhan is emblem half moon is sculptured at the pitha. |
