| Description / विवरण | Meru figure Sacred mountan standing in vedi of the temple.It is carved out on the bronze metal.According to jain tradition it show a sidhhayatana each tier one above the other and surmounted by a finial. Sidhhayatana meant to eternal shrines of jina or shrines of siddha. According to digamabara jain belief in all there are 80 siddhayatanas on the five meru.Discused meru is made to four fold jina image.,there are 20 jina image depicted on this meru,which has sitting in padmasana mudra.It has no inscription,on iconographic grounds it can be ascribed of Circa 18th century AD |
