| Description / विवरण | Shiva is depicted in the act of kiling the demon Gajasura. He has four hands holding with two of his hands the skin of elephant which is lifted over his head forming an arch which is broken. One of his lower right hand is shown in katihasta-mudra while the skull cup is held in the lower left hand. In the action Shiva's one leg is shown placed on the earth firmly while the other leg is shown on the forehead of the demon. His jatamukuta is decorated, and he is well ornamented with the kundala, ekavali, necklace, graiveyaka, katimekhala, vanamala, kativastra, keyura, valaya and nupura. |
