| Description / विवरण | The 19th Jain Tirthankara Mallinatha is seen standing in kayotsarga mudra on a pitha.His body is erect and appear to be motionless.His head is missing.His curly hair has a usnisa over his head.Elephant and gandharva figure are depicted on top corner on either side of the deity.The figure of a standing camardhari is depicted on either near his legs. Decorated halo is shown.Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has no inscription on the pitha but iconographic grounds it can be ascribe of circa 8th century AD.His lanchhan emblem Pot is sculpture at the pitha. |
