| Description / विवरण | The image is similar to AM 857 in style and general proportions, though here the torso is not as stumpy. The halo is quite small and the short cylindrical crown is adorned with festoons. In addition the God wears a ribbonlike vanamala and an ekavali with long cylindrical bead in the center. The upper right hand, clumsily carved, holds a fruit, and the upper left hand holds a conch by the lip. The elbow of the upper left arm projects away from the body to a greater degree than the upper right arm. The lower hands rest on a short gada and an 18 spoked cakra placed on a pedestal. |
