| Description / विवरण | Two handed Ganesha seated in sukhasana. The folded fist of the right hand rests on the right thigh and the left hand is missing from shoulder onwards. He is pot bellied, both legs are bent and his trunk is missing. His folded ears are broad.On the top of the head a two tiered lotus petelled bud is depicted as a crown and the forehead is undulated.He is decorated with a vakshahara, keyura and kankana.A two stranded yajnopavita flows across the right shoulder.The lower garment is tied with a four row katisutra with a prominent knot to the left, resting on the waist.Stylistically image could be ascribed to the early chalukyan period. |
