| Description / विवरण | There inscribed copper plate held together by a ring with seal which passed through a round hole about the middle of the left margin of each plate. The ring is cut. In first plate 13 lines of writing on obverse 14 lines on reverse side. In second plate 13 lines of writing on both sides. In third plate 12 lines of writing on obverse reverse is left blank. The language of writings is Sanskrit Script is North Indian type of alphabet. There are altogether 65 lines of writing. The object of Charter is to record is to record the grant of village Vadavenga together with the hamlet called Harsadutta Pataka in favour of Bhatta Sadharana belonging to the Bharadvaja gotra. |
