| Description / विवरण | The set consists of three copper plates. They are strung together on a copper ring the two ends of which are soldered under a seal having the emblem of a couchant bull with a conch-shell and the fly-whisk. The first side of the first plate is left blank while the second and the third contain writing on both sides. There are altogether 35 lines of writing on the plates. The language is Sanskrit and the script is Eastern Variety of northern class of alphabet. The object of the charter is to record the grant of the village Khinvada in favour of the Brahmana named Bapanna of the Visvamitra gotra. |
