| Description / विवरण | The charter consists of three copper plates. They are held together by a copper ring and attached with a seal. The seal is very much corroded and at present there are altogether 52 lines of writing on the three plates. The first plate being written on the inner side only contains 11 lines, the second plate contains 12 lines on obverse side 13 lines on reverse side, the third plates contains 4 lines on obverse side and 12 lines on reverse side. The object of the charter is to record the grant of the village of Konnayilla in favor of Bhatta sodharana son of Bhatta Sobhana. He belonged to the Bharadvaja gotra. The language of the charter is Sanskrit and script is Proto Nagari. |
