| Description / विवरण | A set of three copper plates are strung together on a copper ring, the two ends of which are joined under a royal seal bearing the emblem of couchant bull with a legend not distinct. In first and third plate 15 lines of writing in reverse and obverse respectively. In second plate 16 lines of writing on both side. Altogether 62 lines of writing. The language of inscription is Sanskrit Script is Eastern variety of northern class of alphabet. The charter records the grant of village Dongigrama Dukagrama by the reigning King Dharmaraja mahabhita in favor of a Brahmana named Asika Golasvamin of Jatukarna gotra. |
