| Description / विवरण | This copper plate grant contains 3 plates. The plates are completely damaged. The first plate of the first side and the 3rd plate of the second side are left blank. The royal seal is detached from the plate which is broken. The language is Sanskrit and the script is Northern class of alphabet. There are altogether 46 lines of writing on the plates. The object of the grant is to record the grant of a village called Ambagrama situated in the Devagrama visaya in favour of a brahmana named Bhatta Narayana of the Maudgalya gotra. |
