| Description / विवरण | Three inscribed copper plate strung together on a copper ring with seal. The seal is very much corroded and nothing can be made out at present. The first third plates bear writing on the inner faces only while the remaining second plate is inscribed on both the sides 13 lines each . There are altogether 48 lines of writing on the three plates. The language of writing is Sanskrit the Script is Eastern variety of Northern class of alphabet. The charter was issued from the reigning King Mahabhavagupta 1 Janmejay records the grant of the village Jollamura Grama in favour of Bhatta Sadharana belongs to the Bharadvaja gotra. |
