| Description / विवरण | This the longest barrelled gun in the collection at Bidar fort. Stock is available from the breech end up to 3 4 th of the muzzle end and strapped to the barrel with four iron bands fastened with nails twisted at the end. The barrel measures 4.03 m in length and the breech end has protruded aim viewer. Stock protrusion near breech is low.Extant barrel mouth measures 10 cm in circumference and the moulded band near muzzle end is noteworthy.Below the barrel in the middle two long pivot measuring 19 cm in length is bound by a iron band , which in turn is probably connected to a base to move the gun in different directions. The extant stock is brownish in colour due to patina and the gun barrel and other iron parts are rusted. |
