| Description / विवरण | This is a small cannon with a narrow barrel .The base is broad, where as the circular barrel mouth is comparatively narrow.It is muzzle loaded and the muzzle end is plain. At the rear end a small perforation is provided on the top surface to ignite gun powder for firing. Beyond the base a small handle tang is provided for easy rotation of cannon in different directions and to vary elevation. Trunnions measuring 10 cm in length and 10 cm in circumference are provided at the middle part and the pivot attached to the U clamp fixed to the trunnions is noteworthy. The surface is rough and encrustration is prominent. |
