| Description / विवरण | This is part of a small cannon with a narrow barrel measuring 45 cm in length . The base is slightly small , measuring 15 cm in circumference where as the extant barrel mouth at muzzle end measures 11 cm in circumference. It is muzzle loaded.A small perforation is provided on the top surface to ignite gun powder for firing.At the rear end a long fluted and curved cylindrical handle with a rounded top measuring 64 cm in length is provided for easy rotation of cannon in different directions and to vary elevation.The surface is smooth and with encrustrations. |
