| Description / विवरण | Ovate hand axe made on river rolled quartz pebble. It shows neatly flaked body on both the surfaces. It has round flaked buttend and blunt pointed functional edge. Almond shaped in its cross section. Shallow flake scars and pecked body surface indicate the application of controlled soft hammer technique. Typo-technologically it is a well developed artifact exhibiting good workmanship and closely resembles with the acheullian hand axe industry. |
