| Description / विवरण | This is a small cannon used for firing long range cannon balls and the barrel measures 1.13 m in length.The base is broad, measuring 37 cm in circumference where as the circular barrel mouth is comparatively narrow and measures 34 cm in circumference.Out turned mouth at muzzle end is noteworthy and measures 34 cm in circumference.At the rear end a small perforation is provided on the top surface to ignite gun powder for firing. It is muzzle loaded.In the middle a cylindrical pivot measuring 17 cm in length to fix it firmly. At the rear end a long cylindrical handle with slightly curved end, measuring 38cm in length is provided, for easy rotation of cannon in different directions and to vary elevation. |
