| Description / विवरण | The god stands with the right leg planted on the ground and the raised left foot resting on a lotus held by Adi Sesa and his consort. The right arm is damaged the left arm holds the discus near the stomach and supports Prthvi on the elbow. It is not clear if the image had two or four arms. The god is shaded by a large drooping lotus, the stalk of which rises from the ground. To his right is Kamala and a seated female devotee to the left, Garuda with one arm raised in a laudatory gesture and a seated male worshipper. Above them were bharavahaka Yakas supporting vyalas, now missing, on top of which were makara heads with riders, one of these being clearly preserved. Above the god are the badly damaged figures of a pair of flying Devas and what appear to be figures of Brahma and Siva. |
