| Description / विवरण | The god is seated in ardhaparyankasana, the left leg folded behind the neck of the bird. Its body is shown in profile though the fanlike tail is spread out behind the back of the deity. The god wears his hair in the kakapaksa style, a cakra and a makara kundala in the ears, a beaded necklace with pendant armlet case and tiger-claw charms, an upavita, and armlets. The right hand holds the shaft of a short heavy spear, while the left hand strokes the neck of the bird. The lower cloth is marked with ridged folds. |
