| Description / विवरण | Memorial pillar of square section, complete with base and crown, carved with Krsnalila scenes on all the four faces. Of the seven compartments on each face, the lowest bears figure of a cow symbolically representing Gokula and the top one shows three roundels whose significance is not dear. The remaining five compartments bear mostly Krsnalila scenes, such as transport of infant Krsna across the Yamuna depicted in two adjacent compartments , theft of butter, Yamalarjuna, Sakatahhanga, Putana-vadha and killing of bull-demon, horse-demon, storm-demon and the elephant Kuvalayapida, etc. |
