| Description / विवरण | At the base is a female figure standing on a pedestal, one arm raised above the head and holding a conch sankha , the other holding the end of a girdle with circular pendants. The lower cloth has slipped below the waist emphasising her nudity. The first lotus flower of the heavy stalk hangs over her head like a small parasol. The fragment, in all probability, adorned the salilantara of a Bhumija temple as in the Udayesvara temple at Udaypur, Vidisa District, Madhya Pradesh. Cf. Kramrisch, Hindu Temple, Vol. II, Pl.
