| Description / विवरण | The dwarf pillar had a square base, most of which is missing, and an octagonal shaft, the faces of which are covered with floriate bands. At the juncture of the shaft and the base are damaged Naga figures with hands folded in adoration. The shaft itself is capped by a square abacus decorated with grasas emitting fioriate scrolls on all the four sides. The capital rests on a triple molding clasped by ornamental leaves and is an abbreviated rendering of the ghata-pallava motif, the overflowing foliage at the corners being retained while the pot itself is replaced by an ardha-padma motif. |
