| Description / विवरण | This is a hand cannon cast in iron. The cylinder of the gun appears almost parallel but it slightly tappers from towards muzzle with flaring out mouth. An astragal ring joins muzzle with chase. The short trunnions are provided on an iron strap around barrel of the gun further engaged with an iron fork swivel with pointed end having perforation. The cascabel is fixed to wooden butt with iron nails. A vent hole is seen on the breech with flash pan. An inscription on the breech near trunnion portion is also noticed. The fore site point is provided on muzzle and back site U on the top portion of breech which is missing now and only empty socket is visible. |
