| Description / विवरण | This is a small hand gun cast in iron known as a shaturnal . The cylinder of the gun appears almost parallel but it slightly tappers from towards muzzle with flaring out mouth. A reinforcement ring is provided on muzzle neck provided with muzzle face shaped as lion s mouth without flaring rim. The portion between first and second reinforcement rings is decorated with V shaped appliqu design in iron which is in warned out condition now. Breech of this gun is decorated with similar design. The trunnions are formed by combining two rods in to a ring having two projections. This ring is also decorated with V shaped design. The second reinforcement ring separating muzzle from chase portion is made of which is in damaged condition. The cascabel is fixed to wooden butt now in damaged condition with iron nails. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. The back site U on the top portion of breech is missing only empty socket is visible now. |
