| Description / विवरण | This is a small hand gun cast in iron known as a shaturnal . The chase and muzzle of the gun is faceted and is octagonal in section. The muzzle face has out flaring rim. The portion between first and second reinforcement rings is decorated with V shaped appliqu design in iron. Breech of this gun is decorated with similar design. The trunnions are formed by combining two rods in to a ring having two projections. The cannon is provided with thee reinforcement rings in copper two near muzzle and third near breech portion. The cascable is fixed to wooden butt with iron nails. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. The muzzle is provided with fore site point but back site U on the top portion of breech is missing only empty socket is visible now. An insciption is seen on the chase near trunnions. |
