| Description / विवरण | This is a small hand gun cast in iron. The cylinder of the gun appears almost parallel but it slightly tappers from towards muzzle. The trunnions provided in the middle of the chase are formed by combination of two thick bars bent in shape of ring around barrel. They are further attached with fork with perforation in the pointed end. The muzzle of the cannon is inscribed with an inscription. Incised designs are also noted on breech portion. The cascabel in form of flat iron strip is fixed to wooden butt with iron nails. The chase portion too is engraved with an inscription. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. The muzzle and chase astragals are represented by incised lines. The gun is provided with fore site noke on the muzzle rim and a grove on the breech represents place for back site U. |
