| Description / विवरण | This is a small gun cast in iron known as a shaturnal . The barrel of the gun is faceted and octagonal in section. The muzzle mouth is out flaring with simple rim rim. The trunnions are formed by combining two rods in to a ring having two projections. These are further engaged with an iron fork swivel. An inscription is engraved on the chase portion. The cannon is provided with astragals on muzzle, chase near trunnion and on breech. The cascable is flat rectangular strip with three perforations to fix gun with wooden butt which now missing. The vent hole is seen on the breech. The muzzle is provided with fore site point but back site U on the top portion of breech is missing only empty socket is seen now. |
