| Description / विवरण | |
| Description / विवरण | This is a hand cannon cast in iron known as shaturnal . The cylinder of the gun appears almost parallel but it slightly tappers from towards muzzle with flaring out mouth. An astragal ring joins muzzle with chase. The trunnions provided in the middle of the chase are formed by combination of two thick bars bent in shape of ring around barrel further engaged with a fork swivel having perforated pointed end. The cascabel is fixed to wooden butt with iron nails which is now in fragmentary condition. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. It was provided with fore site point which is visible in form of a groove on muzzle ring and back site U on the breech rim. |
