| Description / विवरण | It is a small gun cast in iron. The chase and muzzle of the gun is faceted and is octagonal in section. The muzzle face has out flaring rim. The portion between first and second reinforcement rings is decorated with V shaped appliqu design in iron. Breech of this gun is decorated with similar design. A thick flat ring in the middle of the chase accommodates trunnions are formed by combining two rods in to a ring having two projection. These are further engaged with a fork swivel. An inscription is engraved on the breech portion. The cannon is provided with thee reinforcement rings in copper two near muzzle and third near breech portion. The cascable is flat rectangular strip with two perforations engaged with iron nails to fix wooden butt which is missing here. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech and back site U on the top. |
