| Description / विवरण | This is a light gun cast in iron. The chase and muzzle of the gun are faceted and octagonal in section. The muzzle face has out flaring rim decorated with design like flower petals. The portion between first and second reinforcement rings is decorated with V shaped appliqu design in iron. Breech of this gun is decorated with similar design. A thick flat ring in the middle of the chase accommodates trunnions are formed by combining two rods in to a ring having two projection. These are further engaged with a fork swivel. An inscription is engraved on the chase. The cannon is provided with two reinforcement rings in copper near muzzle. The cascabel is flat rectangular strip fixed in wooden butt with iron nails. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. and back site U on the top. For aiming, gun is provided with fore site point on muzzle rim and back site U on the breech now seen in form of an empty groove. |
