| Description / विवरण | It is a light gun cast in iron known as musket. This gun has a long parallel bodied cylinder with narrow calibre provided with short trunnions further engaged with a fork swivel. Thick ring comprising trunnions is decorated with incised lines. The muzzle astragals are also decorated with oblique incisions. An inscription is engraved on the breech. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. The gun has flat cascabel fixed in a wooden butt using iron nails. It is provided with fore site point on muzzle rim and back site U on the breech now seen in form of an empty groove. |
