| Description / विवरण | This light gun cast in iron is known as musket. It is a long parallel bodied cylinder with narrow calibre provided with short trunnions further engaged with a fork swivel with perforated end. Astragals are provided on muzzle and breech portions. An inscription is engraved on the muzzle. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. The gun has flat cascabel for fixing it in to a wooden butt using iron nails which is now lost. It is provided with fore site point on muzzle rim and back site U on the breech rim. |
