| Description / विवरण | This is a light hand gun cast in iron. The cylinder of the gun appears almost parallel but it slightly tappers from towards muzzle having flaring out mouth. The cannon is provided with muzzle astragal. The trunnions are cylindrical projections provided in the middle of the chase over a flat circular ring around barrel decorated with incised diamond shaped pattern. They are further engaged with fork swivel with perforation in the pointed end. The cascabel in form of flat iron strip is fixed to wooden butt with iron nails. The vent hole is seen on the right side of the breech with flash pan. The gun is provided with fore site noke on the muzzle rim and back site U the breech. An inscription is found on the barrel of the gun. |
